- Read the assigned pages in the textbook before class on Monday 11/16/09. Take notes on the Education Worksheet.
- Monday 11/16/09, meet with your group during class to discuss the questions on your Education Worksheet and plan for your written product and oral presentation (outlined below).
2 group products:
1. What you turn in as a group (15 pts.—everyone in the group gets the same score):
- Make sure everyone helps in the planning.
- List important vocabulary
- List the points you want to make (at least 3)
- List review questions (at least 2 questions per point)
- One group member will put your written information into a Word Document and email it to the teacher. Due Monday 11/23
2. What you present in class (20 pts—everyone in the group gets the same score):
You will have another class period to plan/practice your oral presentation.
- Give a demonstration, skit, or other oral representation of the information in the reading.
- Teach or explain any points not represented by your oral representation.
- Everyone participates orally or dramatically in the presentation.
